Alright for a very very long time whenever I walk for any kind of distance I get sharp pain in the front or sides of my shins as well as a painful stretching sensation in my arches. My parents are very active and encourage me to go on walks with them in the park and whenever I decide I'll go, I have this problem. My shins feel like there is pressure building beneath the skin which causes pain and upon finishing the walks I usually notice a small bump on my shin about the size of a penny. The bump itself doesnt hurt or have any coloration, it is squishy and can easily be pushed down.

While the pain can be somewhat intense I usually dont mention it or really think much of it, I figure I just need new shoes and continue to walk through the pain.

The reason why I decided to post this today is because while on a walk today my shins and arches hurt as usual, but strangely about a mile into the walk one of my feet fell asleep/went numb. The sensation was similar to the "pins and needles" you feel when something on your body was asleep but is now waking up. This was the first time this has happened so I'm a bit more concerned than usual. The foot went back to normal shortly after walking. It may be unrelated I have no idea.

Should I be concerned? What type of doctor should I consult?
