Jen,
Yes, I had them both done and if I were to do it again it would be the same way for I would rather go through it all at the same time than seperately. The anesthesia was as I remember a little uncomfortable at first, I lost count of how many shots they had to give me in each foot *everywhere*! But this is also 15 yrs. ago just to remind you, I am not sure how they go about everything now. When the doc had preformed the surgery on one foot then preceded to go to the other one my anesthesia had worn off some and he started cutting into my other foot without making sure first. This was very painful. I am sure though had it not been for his mistake in this everything would have went great! I had to wear these special shoes for 6 weeks while heeling. I did all of this and the surgery did no good for me for I still have bunions on both feet

I sometimes think about going and redoing the surgery but am too scared to do it again and have figured I am 34 now and if I have lived with it this long then I might as well live with them the rest of my life even though my feet hurt like the dickens sometimes after walking or standing on them too long and I can only wear a certain kind of tennis shoes to be comfortable in. I don't know mabey i will get the nerve up to do this again one day~ Being as this is 15 yrs. later that you are doing this I think you will do perfectly fine and hope all goes well for you! Good luck!
Teri
