Hi i'm grateful for any advice on this.
I broke my heel in july 2001, damaging both feet by landing on them without shoes at speed (don't ask lol). I was on anti inflams and in a leg cast/crutches for several weeks after which the doctors told me basically that's it, cured-go away. Since my accident i have constant pain mostly in my left foot, at various points along the flat of the bottom and also on the right side below and covering the heel/ankle part.

About a month ago i finally said enough and went to the doctor ( a different one) (a journey unable to be made by foot) who refered me to a physiotherapist and put me on pain killers (diclofenac sodium) which has killed some pain but not entirely. After doing leg strengthening exercises with the physio i am finally able to put both legs down! and somewhat balance, although there is still weakness and my walking slow and kind of odd lol. Most pain is after walking, sometimes i have no pain for quite a while and then i get kind of a sharp pain. Standing for a long time or walking is not possible although i do 4 lots of foot exercises (advised by physio) for 5 minutes, 4 times a day to keep it kind of moving. I have also has ultrasound on my foot twice now.

The Physio told me she is unsure what is wrong. She told me to walk normally and see if the pain went. Catch 22 lol. She masages my feet weekly around my heel which is painful and yesterday told me she things i have tendon damage/inflamation? aswell - she massaged the bottom of my foot and that was the most painful thing ever, i still hurt today from that. I have one trusty pair of cushioned trainers that makes short walks just about bareable.

She's now refering me to a Podiatrist?
I am feeling it's nearly a year now and although it takes time noone is really sure of my problem i feel or a solution. I am not entirely convinced this is due to me not walking enough to get back into it, as my physio hints as i have had this pain since imediately after the accident.

Am i overly worrying?....I am not knowledgable on medicine but I am wondering about Plantar fasciitis or tendonitis? that i have heard on this board. Is this easily spotted? I have had about 10 xrays lol.

Has anyone any advice/suggestions for me as it is preventing me from working for which i cannot get any sick money and making me generally very sore and miserable

I am in the UK btw.
