When your feet feel like they are on fire-what does this mean ? - Foot Problems Message Board

Hi all
I am new to this board and am very happy to have found this. Does anyone else experience this with the feet ? Mine mostly occurs when I go to bed, they feel like they are on fire. This does not happen all of the time. Hubby experiences it as well. Any advice as to what this is caused from ?

Yes I experience it and you know who I am I live right across the street, and you probably have the same thing I have....

You and hubby are not diabetic, are you? If so, get yourself checked for diabetic peripheral neuropathy. If not, I don't know I'm afriad!

Not that I know of (diabetic) even though it does run in both sides of our family....but why would this only happen when in bed ?

Burning feet? Try atheletes (sp?) foot, it's contagious so that might be why you both have it. My husband has the same thing, burning feeling while he's falling asleep. Buy some stuff at the store, make sure you clean the shower out when you're done with it so you don't keep spreading it to each other, wear socks or something around the house for same reason. If that doesn't work, go see a doc
