What treatment would work?

Three weeks ago I dropped a piece of furniture in the middle on top of my foot. Last week I went to my primary care physcian, as a lump had appeared where the furniture hit. This week (week 3) this cyst looking spot is getting larger. No x-rays were taken and I was told to

Grizzly...Are you in a lot of pain or just concerned about the bump?

The pain is when I apply pressure to the spot. Putting on jogging/walking shoes and tying them is a little painful. I have a high pain tolerance, so I think I'm more scared than anything. Thank you for your concern.
