post op surgery - Foot Problems Message Board

i had surgery on my buion on 6/14/07 and was hit in the same foot on7/03/07 by a cashier full of grociers i went to the er that same day none of my pins were out of place but my pain since then has been 10 on a scale of 1-10 my doctor just keeps sending me to physical therapy its not working what should i do

did your dr take an xray and were you in pain before that? i have no clue why you would be in pain other than severe bruising. i wouldnt let it go on.

Your bones should be healed/fused by now so you shouldn't be experiencing that level of pain. Have you had a recent x-ray other than when you went to the ER back in July? I'm wondering if you have a non-fusion. I would push your doctor for a better explanation.
