Has anyone out there had cheilectomies on both feet? - Foot Problems Message Board

Hi,

I injured both MTP joints while running on my treadmill earlier this year. I had a right cheiectomy on 10/1 with total relief of pain. Now the left foot has really started to hurt and it will be repaired next week. Has anyone had this on both feet?

I am a 47 year old anesthesiologist and it's an eyeopener being on the other side of things. I do only neurosurgery cases and realize things could be a lot worse in terms of illness. However, foot pain can be quite a bummer and depressing too.

Had my left one done...it's great....right one needs it but am putting off. Doesn't hurt as bad as left one did!
