OK...I have had two MN surgeries on the same metatarsal space (between 3 and 4 toes). 2nd was a success. NOW a MN has developed between the 2 and 3 toes (the most common areas). I am due for surgery in April. First, anyone from STL, MO recommend a good doc? Or is there a method to determine doctors success rates?

Also, if you've had succesful MN surgery, what have you done differently to succeed?

I, too, would like to know of a successful foot surgeon in the St. Louis area. I had bunion and hammertoe surgery last August on my left foot, and it's been nothing but trouble since. Now it appears I have a fractured sesamoid bone (result of the surgery?), and am currently in a big black boot and using some sort of electromagnetic thing for 3 hours/day. I have a MN on my right foot, also, and am reluctant to have anything done about it, due to the complications from this last surgery. Any advice is very welcome! Thanks.

I don't know if it's a problem or not. I seem to remember seeing one or two, awhile back, but I could be wrong. If it's a problem, I'll be glad to give my email address and you can email me if you found a good one in this area.

I had a Mortons Neuroma and I had several injections with an alcohol by my podiatrist and it totally went away.
