Hi,
This is probably going to make me sound vain and a little crazy, but here goes:
Back in 1994, I had the toenail removed on my right big toe, due to fungus infection. I had the nail bed removed as well. If I'd known what I know now, I'd have just ha the nail removed, then taken the medication to get rid of the infection so a healthy nail could have grown back. So now I feel self-conscious about wearing open-toe shoes in the summer, because I have no toenail. But, I've tried just painting nail polish on the toe because it really doesn't look natural and doesn't last long. I eny those women who have such pretty toes that they can wear open sandals--I used to be able to. I see some people with messed up toenails wearing sandals, and I think it looks disgusting, and I don't want to look like that!
Is there such a thing as "toenail replacement"? Can a fake toenail be fixed up so it stays on the toe for at least a couple of weeks? Any information that anyone has will be appreciated. Thanks.
