i think i've got morton's neuroma in my right foot (high level pain at base of toe next to big toe)...wondering what will help. thinking about a tens machine...or maybe somehow purchasing and ultrasound device.
i've got orthodics...but it's complicated. i think the above condition happened because of a repetitive motion injury to the joints on the top of my left foot. add to that a right heel that is all scar tissue and 3 right knee reconstructions with tons of arthritis (yay glucosamine!) there now. all adds up to gait issues.
so...one thing at a time. ever used a tens or ultrasound for MNeuroma/ball of foot pain? i can hardly walk...NOT doing surgery...a big time bad candidate.
i'm glad to find this board...any thoughts? will welcome all!!!
Some people get relief with alcohol injections...2 or 3 should kill the nerve ending if it is going to work on you. I'd try that first. Otherwise, since I had mine removed, I don't know about the other options.
