High Arch Pain!!! - Foot Problems Message Board

HI,
I am a 40 yr old mom, I have very high arches and wear size 4 1/2 shoe. I've suffered with severe foot pain for most of my adult life. I've used custom orthotics with not much relief. Has anyone been treated with cortisoine shots? I really need help!

have you went to the foot dr./specialist? have you heard of plantar facisitis?
did they say you have it or not?

i have it and after 6 miserable years and doing all the proper steps of shots, foot inserts, therpy, electric shock wave treatment i am currently at home on my 3rd week of planter fac. surgery/recovery

let me know if you want me to explain more----if you haven't went to a piodiatrist---get to one brfore you end up like me ---i didn't because i thought it would always go away.
