| Peroneal Tendon/Ligament Tightening Surgery - Question/HELP!
I am having surgery next month to tighten the ligaments of my right ankle and also repair a partial tear of the peroneal tendon. The tendon seems to be worsening and my question is what are the consequences of waiting should the tendon rupture completely. I have travel plans between now and the surgery and am concerned that the tendon is going to "let go." If this happens and I am unable to have surgery ie. out of town - what are the dangers of waiting with a completely ruptured tendon?
