| Dislocated ankle - foot still not correct shape after 2 years
Has anyone else experienced this?
My mother is 84 and dislocated her ankle just over 2 years ago and had to have pins put in. However, her foot still hasn't got back to the right shape and looks very odd still. Sometimes her ankle looks more swollen some days than others- though it does permanently look swollen. I just wondered if this was unusual or if anyone else had problems like this. She has problems with her balance also and having this odd shaped foot doesn't help I'm sure.
Anyone else had experiences like this?
