I Fractured my calcaneus 61/2 months ago and had progressed to 1 crutch and sometimes able to walk for short time in house with a limp but no pain.
I have now started having pain in my knee and back in the main tendon by outside ankle. Do you think this is because I have only now started doing stretching exercises? I had theraband and hydrotherapy but was not told to do stretching exercises until now by PT. PT told me that I was having knee pain because I was using crutch too far away from body and putting too much weight on crutch and non injured foot. NOone had told me how I should be walking before this.
I have taken her advice and doing stretching and slowing down and trying to walk properly but did not expect to get this tendon pain back again.
Any advice would help as I can put up with the pain if I know that it is normal recovery
