This is not a joke. I have heard about this for people who suffer with pain in the ball of the foot. Mine does not come from wearing high heels. I'm at a point that a walking shoe is uncomfortable. I would be interested in this myself. The ball of my foot is still numb & a little sore following morton's neuroma surgery and if I thought an injection of botox would help I would do it. I just wonder how long it would last and also the cost. I think as you age you do lose some of the fat pad on your foot, which probably is the reason for some of our problems. A little "plumping up" might be the answer. Hopefully someone who knows something about it will reply.
I was so glad to hear someone else has the same problem. On google under botox+feet it has a name "stilettotoral" a condition women develope from yrs. of wearing high heels & it cause the ball of the foot to lose it's padding. I have it in left foot. I am hoping someone knows of any one who has had botox injections. I don't know the cost but I am almost ready to pay anything.
debbieg, I have heard about botox for migraine headaches as well as some back problems. I believe it numbs the nerves. re:feet, I heard about this on one of the morning shows as well as Paul Harvey on the radio.
