I'm looking for recommendations in the Chicagoland area, northwest suburbs more specifically. Would like a doctor who specializes in bunion surgery, possibly flat feet as well. Thank you!
i live in the northern suburbs. i finally went rush. there are 2 ortho foot specialists and i used dr. george holmes. he works on the bulls. he is great. let me know if you go.
haha funny you say that. I saw dr. holmes for my torn arch/chronic plantar fasciitis/flat feet. We found him through RUSH, and saw that he was the doc for the sox and bulls so we were optimistic, but unfortunately ended up disappointed. Maybe hes good for bunions, but we didnt care for him too much. We waited 1.5 hours in his chicago office and his CDH office, and each time he spent less than 5 minutes with us (myself, 21, and my mom). He was pretty adimant that there was nothing wrong with me, and refferred me to another doctor (Weil Institute). We showed three of the doctors the same MRI, Xrays, and Bone Scan we had shown George and they all said I need surgery as soon as possible, which I later had and am doing much better.
Glad you had better luck with him. And Thank You for replying!

Hi, I also live in the Chicagoland area (western suburbs) and am looking for a good foot doctor. I was wondering what you thought of the Weil Institute and which doctors you saw there. Thanks.
In West Burbs try the Parkview Orthopaedic group. I had Dr Defrino. If you search you can find where the offices are, I went to Palos Heights. He is good.
