How did you recover from Post Tib Surgery?

Hi All,
I'm curious, what level of activity were you able to return to after post. tib surgery? Could you let me know what type of surgery you had and what you are able to do now?

I'm a soccer player and I keep having problems with Post tib tendinitis that I think might be a result of a broken fibula (Weber B Fracture) I had two years ago. I'm trying to figure out if I will be able to play again if I have surgery. That being said, I don't know what surgery that would be yet. But orthodics, ice, 6 months of rest and PT, and lots of Advil and Aleve haven't helped. Any suggestions on other things I could do to try to help heal it would also be welcome.
Thanks!
