Recovering from bunion surgery on both feet - Foot Problems Message Board

I had surgery to "remove" bunions from both my feet on May 7th.

I am keeping a blog on my daily recovery so that it may be of some use to others who are thinking about having the same strategy as me.

There is nothing commercial on the blog, just my daily account of recovery. I am aware that I am not allowed to mention the URL here.

I am also hoping it will help me as I recover from the symptoms and gradually gain more mobility.

I'm in the United Kingdom so I hope there isn't too much of a difference between the surgical techniques between here and in the US.

Essentially I had pain in the left bunion whilst walking and the right bunion was causing inflamation and "big toe creep" towards the next toe.

I can report happily that on the 14th day after surgery I was able to do without any painkillers.

Hi just came across your thread by chance. I had both my feet operated on the 13th July. I would love to read your daily blog on your progress how do i go about finding it.

Hi beetroot good luck with your surgery in 2 weeks time im sure you will have plenty of questions you will want answering as time goes on thats what these posts are all about. Why dont you start your own post then other people will come and join you ill look out for you
