I'd been having a bit of stinging-like pain in the third toe of my left foot off off and on for some time. But Saturday a.m. it woke me up, it had become so intense. It was painful all day yesterday. At first, I thought it was the neighboring toenail digging in. Made sure they were cut right. It wasn't that.

Finally, I noticed a small knot in the side of the third toe that was larger than the joint of the rt. foot 3rd toe. I looked up some stuff on a local podiatrist's web site, and found neuromas. It sure quacks like a duck to me.

It seems a bit better this a.m., but then I've not been up on it much either. Last night, the whole row of toes on that foot were swollen! I guess crowding from the one swollen toe did that, I don't know. I just hope it settles down, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to see the foot doc about this. A time or two, I felt pain all across every toe joint! Thankfully, that didn't last but a second or two.

I have health anxiety anyway, and by last night, I was having nausea spells from the worry.

Has anyone had anything like this, and if so, how did things go?
