DauntesMom Newbie (female) Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: New Jersey Posts: 5	Aug 15, 2009 will be 1 YEAR I am still in the boot and using a cane out in public. I did get the gel inserts to place in my extra wide sneakers, but due to the swelling on the top of my foot I could only wear the sneaker for 15 minutes. I do feel more confident than I have in a long time. I drove 14 hours to visit my daughter for the holiday. So life really is not that bad and what's one more month Be a great day DauntesMom
