i am interested in prp for my achilles tendon. i know it is pretty new and have not heard a lot about the outcomes. i found a site in maryland that is doing it but would like some feedback before i pursue it. thanks

I had it done on 7/1. See the other thread that has "Topaz" and "Plasma" in the title.

Ive never heard of PRP, or Plasma, but I have had Topaz. I had it done on my arch and heel. The recovery wasn't too bad, and it did seem to relieve most of my arch pain. My doctor now, Dr. Kelikian, out of Chicago... said he was undecided about it. He has done them and has referred people to have it done, but he says hes not absolutely sure how he feels about it now, seeing as there havent really been extensive studies and such.
