Triple arthrodesis following Agility Ankle Replacement
Three years ago I had a TAR with an Agility device. The screws came out at 6 months, and a larger bar and screws were implanted.

Now I have pain again, especially up both sides of the hindfoot and my surgeon says I need a triple arthrodesis.

Should I get another opinion? What rate of success is there with triple arthrodesis following Agility ankle replacement?

age 70, weight 150, height 5'4

TAR is very new in the states so you may not find a lot of responses (but quite common for a number of years in Germany and Scandinavia). You might want to check the medical literature by searching Medline. Good Luck
