| What now?
I'm going to make this as short and sweet as possible....
I had my ankle fused in 2006 and my subtalar joint fused in 2008. I was hoping my pain would be gone or at least decreased to a tolerable level. However, I still have pain. Granted, it is not in my ankle or my subtalar joint, but now it is on the outside of my foot - on the bottom. It feels like an arthritic joint.
My dr seems to think it is a tendon that is getting overworked right now or is getting a little more pressure now that I am walking and standing on it more. I am currently trying some anti-inflammatory cream to see if it helps. So far it really hasn't done any good.
If this doesn't do the trick in the next week or so I am going to have to go to physical therapy for some kind of steroid treatment.
My question is - has anyone else had this happen? If so, what was the outcome?
Thanks!
