| does anyone know if Medicare covers any assistive devices?
Does anyone know if Medicare covers these assistive devices for Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction (PTTD) surgery patients: wheelchair, knee scooter? My PTTD surgery will be in the next couple of weeks. Would you predict my foot will be too painful to be using the knee scooter in the early post-op days? Would a wheelchair with extendable footrests be a good idea? Thanks for any help.
