Baxters Nerve Pain in Heel
Has anyone heard of Baxter's Nerve pain? I have pain in my heel everyday. Rest helps until I get up and walk again. My foot doc says it is similar to carpal tunnel in the wrist. We are trying everything to avoid surgery. Has anyone had surgery to release this pain. What's the recovery time for this surgery? Weight bearing or not? Thanks for any into.

Since you had this issue last year I'm assuming it's been taken care of. I was diagnosed with it a few weeks ago and immediately began wearing a night foot splint with injections (2x two weeks apart). The pain is gone and I'm left with a rather numb heel - much preferable to the pain. How about you? Did it ever return? Susan
