| Burning in foot.
I have had pain in my foot since May. It started out on the bottom of the heel only when I would step on something. I do have a heel spur, but it has been there since childhood. Now along with that I get a burning pain on the inside of the foot, a little over the arch, but mostly over the heel. This burning happens more with overuse and does not worsen after sitting and then getting up, just if I walk or stand alot. Once
I sit down it will still burn for a while and will ussually flare up really bad for a few seconds and then decrease over and over. Dr. looked at my xray and diagnosed plantar fasciitis even though I have had the heel spur all my life and the symptoms don't seem to totally fit. Dr. also didn't examine my foot or tape it, or check to see if I am flat footed, NOTHING. Maybe it is plantar fasciitis, but it seems like there is more to it. Anyone had something similar? Thanks.
