| Is this normal
Hi all: I just hit the 2 mo. mark post-op from OATS surgery w/2 stainless steel "Trucor" plugs. My foot is still swollen & stiff (mostly in calf), & my ROM is not great, esp. in the back/forth (gas pedal motion). My left leg's taken a beating & at first my knee was "shot to heck" & now my ankle is swollen/sore. Minimal pain in right ankle except when very swollen/stiff, but the left-very painful, in retaliation mode. Has anyone had any back, hip problems since surgery. I agree w/everyone on the time factor. As frustrated as I get day-to-day w/how long it's taking, I have to remember that I've gotten this far & things are looking good. I'm not used to going in slow motion, but this injury/surgery has made me change my routine. I'm looking forward to the day I can walk crutch-free & can drive again. Take care everyone. Juls
