| Recovery from Plantar Fasciitis and nerve damage
I was wondering if anyone had surgery to correct Plantar Fasciitis. I have been suffering for year with horrible pain. I have been through several procedures including radio frequency. Since I work on my feet all day I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I also had to have the nerves in my toe fix, since I had bunion surgery from another surgeon last year. The nerves in my toe would tingle at times and if you just touched it I would feel all different sensations.
After surgery last week, the doctor told me I had a lot of scar tissue in the toe area due to the surgery and cortisone shots.He also told me those nerves where intertwined with each other When he cut the ligament he also did more radio frequency. My ankle and the bottom of my foot were always in pain. He is hopefull that I can return to work in about 8 weeks
If someone did have this surgery pls tell me what I can expect and if their can be another reason why my ankle always hurt. He has idea that it could be something else and I guess when I go back to him on Friday we will go over it
