Welcome to the boards, and I am sorry you are having so much trouble.
Can you tell me where the infection is or how you got it?
I had an infection in my bone when I had my ankle fused. I had a debridement surgery done where they removed any infected/dead tissue. Then, I did IV antibiotics, but I also still had metal in my ankle/leg, so I had to do the IV antibiotics for 10 weeks I think.
What does your dr say about your situation? Have you been to an infectious disease dr?
