Podiatrist, I would imagine? I hesitate to give any as I am not a doctor but you might call and ask if you can do either of these. The usual one is to pull it out gently but firmly and then move up and down. You may find it easier to do if you have warmed the muscles up by soaking the toe in very warm, almost hot water or while taking a shower or bath. Also, try picking up a washcloth with the toe is the other one.
