I own a pair and I like them. They took a little getting used to, but now I think they're great.
If you are considering buying them, I really strongly recommend finding a store where you can try them on, because they're not right for everyone. I found mine at an outdoor store not too far from me.
If you have certain serious problems with your feet, they won't provide the necessary support. But if you have minor pain, or healthy feet you want to keep healthy, they can be a good option. If you want to run or do sports in them, though, you actually have to learn how. The heavy heelstrike runners in regular sneakers rely on is not appropriate to barefoot or near barefoot running.
