Please help, foot injury, need to know what's injured in my foot
Hello, this is a Foot Injury question, i need to figure out what is wrong with my foot in order to heal it properly.
The cause was blunt force on the bottom arch of my foot (i kicked a hard surface). I have gotten x rays and it showed up that it is not broken or fractured. The doctor wouldn't tell me anything else, but gave me crutches and expected it would be better in a few days, but it is not better after a week. There are too many things it could be, how do you tell?
The pain is located on the bottom arch, and also throughout the top, sometimes extending towards the ankle. It is an uncomfortable pain mainly in the arch that feels like my foot is being ripped apart slowly, or something strong is constantly pushing painfully upwards in the arch by an invisible pressure.
It is a strong painful pressure i have never felt before in extreme bruises so i don't think its bruised. There is no actual colour of surface bruises either.
I was unable to move my toes and walk for a week because any pressure was excruciating, but i am now able to walk on just a flat foot. I can put pressure on it now, but can't bend my foot. There are sharp pains if i bend it too much. After walking a bit today it feels creepily numb and tingly and the pressure is getting so immense it feels like a semi truck is sitting on it. It doesn't look swollen. I have researched all over and cannot understand what might be injured in my foot. I have taken lots of rest, but i'm not sure if i need to do anything else to help it recover. The pressure gets bad even when i have my foot lifted up and relaxed, and even the pressure flexing or relaxing my foot creates is bad. I wouldn't think it is fractured because i can put weight on it now.
Thank you. (i know its vague info to go by without seeing my foot, but perhaps you know what the injury is by the description, and what i can do to also relieve pressure.)
Things I have tried: rest, ice, elevation, crutches...
