I'm new to the boards. I went to the foot doctor and was told my bone under the padding of my foot is deterioting. I am 48 years old. My Big toe is locked in one position and it is a big problem finding shoes to wear. I was up on my tippy toes trying to reach something in the cabinet and forced the big toe out of the locked position..My foot hasen't been right since. I seen the Dr. over a year ago because i lost my insurance. I know it is getting worse. He spoke of a metal plate at the time. He also said it was very unusual for a person of my age for this to be happening. Just would like any input from anyone with this problem. Thanks so much
