I have been partial weight bearing for 10 days. I am starting to have very sharp pains in my opposite hip.
I have tried to match up my shoe heights and have taken a day or so off from trying to walk much with my crutches. It even hurts now to use my knee roller
Yes. Have you tried evenups? You get them online. They are an extra level to the sole of the shoe held on by bunjie chord type straps. I got them when I was in a camwalker and it made a HUGE difference
Even shoe height and stretching are your best bets. I had this off and on for several years as I worked thru 2 foot surgeries and a stress fracture in the same foot. Very annoying - not to mention painful - but very common.

Any suggestions or anyone else?
Hi, I have been partial weight bearing for about two weeks. At my orthopedic surgeons office, they put a leveler that goes over my tennis shoe. I had never seen one before. It's perfect...give them a call. Good luck to you. Zoey's Grammy
Zoeys grandma The leveler is the even up that I described in my post. Most doctors do not appear to know about them. They are so simple but absolutely wonderful. I wish I had come up with the idea.
Keep in mind too that you are favoring the bad foot. So even with perfectly level shoes you are going to be somewhat off in your gait. Be sure to stretch regularly. A massage is great for it too!
