Before and after x-rays of posterior tibial tendon surgery
Hi Everyone,
My surgeon shared my before and after surgery for flat foot reconstruction weight bearing x-rays with me at my last check up. There was quite a difference! I was amazed and it made all the suffering seem worth it. Didn't know if anyone might be interested in how different your anatomy is after or not but figured I'd fling them out here and if they helped anyone, then great!
I'd love to see anyone else's pictures of before and after if you have them. So fascinating what they can do!

Yours look great, you can definitely see a difference! I agree, I love seeing the x-rays, I'm glad you made this thread!
I just took pics of copies of my x-rays on my phone a minute ago so these attachments are definitely not the best quality! But they'll just have to do.
(All of these are with weight)

WOW Twix! That is so cool!!! You have an arch now! What a difference in your view from above! What actual procedures did you have done? No calcaneal osteotomy?

Haha I could hardly believe it myself! Here are the procedures:
-Gastroc recession.
-Modified Kidner procedure.
-Subtalar arthroereisis.
-Cotton Osteotomy, middle cuneiform.

Nice arch swimbunnie! Interesting you have two screws up front. Is that where they lengthened your foot on the side? Which procedures did you have done?
