| Calcaneal Fracture
Calcaneal Fracture:
I was injured 2 years ago as result of falling off ladder 10′. Fractured in two places right calcanial.
I had surgery to which has correct the displacement and 2 slight fractures…luckily did not suffer a shattered heel. This was a long healing process which has left me with slight discomfort on a daily basis pending on daily activity, slight loss of side to side motion and nerve damage from the back right heel forward to the 3 right tows, which is slight loss of sensation (just an odd sensation). So, I was considering – if there is an option to have the screws removed (8). Just wondering if will benefit.? The doctor had also recommended to fuse the bones together – which i think will lesson the mobility. What’s your opinion?
