| Met with the Surgeon today!
I probably shouldn't have stressed so much about the meeting.
I didn't cry ( yay ) nor did I throw a temper tantrum ( yay ) and I was in and out of the office in an hour ( super yay! ).
During the scope last month, the doctor found " remnants " of the following ligaments :
* ATFL
* PTFL
* CFL
* Deltoid Ligament ( Medial )
No wonder I cannot walk without pain!
The surgeon would LIKE to do a modified Brostrom with bone anchors, but isn't sure there is enough ligament left, so we might change over to another procedure using a tendon graft???? She said there were only ' remnants ' of the ligaments during the scope.
I am banned from driving or walking without the boot until 6 weeks after surgery. I will be NWB for 2 weeks, then PWB or FWB as tolerated.
