Pain again 2 weeks post bunion surgery?

Hi. I had lapidus and hammertoe surgery 17 days ago. I was off pain meds after day 3 and was fairly comfortable until last night. All of the sudden I have intense pain again. Really uncomfortable and I'm not sure why. I have been using my knee scooter a but more but not much and even elevating/icing isn't doing the trick. Has anyone experienced this? I get my stitches out tomorrow so I will ask doctor. I really don't want to start popping percocet again but fear I may have to, didn't sleep a wink last night. Did anyone have to restart pain meds this far into recovery?? Thanks!!
