| Not getting a boot?
Hi everyone,
I am just about 4 weeks, NWB after ligament tightening surgery. I have had a cast on this whole time, and it comes off in two days. I thought for sure my OS would put me in a boot to start walking, but he's only putting me in a lace up brace! I'm going to feel so vulnerable! Has anyone else gone from cast w/NWB to brace wit WB as tolerated? I'm just ready to walk again! I have slipped off my knee walker twice and landed on my foot!
Thanks for any stories! I'm hoping to hear someone say it was easy!
