| I need Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome support
I have symptoms of TTS bilaterally going on 3 years!
Just wanted to say I'm here if anyone else needs support.
I know how hard and debilitating and alone it can feel.
Started while I was running several miles at a time, suddenly I couldn't take one step without severe pain in feet/ankles. There is some nerve pain in the calves, and if I weight bear for a length of time, it suddenly feels like a rubberband pulling between my very low back and feet that just stretches (hurts/feels weak, but I have motor control) and I feel I must sit and rest. But I can't always and have motor control, but I'll sit and after a period of rest can get up and go for another bit.
I have avoided taking a nerve drug for 3 years, but will be trying one starting tonight (Neurontin).
I've seen about every kind of dr (sometimes 3 or more in a field from natural and alternative to all kinds of medical drs. ).
I had one Tarsal Tunnel Release surgery with no relief, and no worse for it either.
When this started, several days of it felt too much. I'd read it could be weeks or months . That was like "no way" and now years.
I miss running and taking walks with my family.
