Re: 10 months after brostrum - seeing an ankle specialist...
SOOOO happy for you!! I'm sure dr will be able to see what's going on and what needs to be done. Sounds like you have a great dr and you're in good hands. Look forward to MRI results and Plan of action! Take care. Jeanne

Mercy runs a tight ship, I bet they have something to do with getting everything through (plus your lawyer). Thrilled to hear that you are able to move forward to swiftly!!

Thanks everyone! I am in so much pain still - I am hoping he will be able to find something to at least fix it and make all this pain go away. I couldn't hardly walk on it when I got up this morning. I did pretty good today, but had to take 300 mg of tramadol today - now the inside of my ankle/foot aches so badly, it has been hard to get comfortable! So hoping that something can be done to fix the pain..... I cannot imagine having to live this way - if he cannot find anything....here's to hoping and prayer!
Re: 10 months after brostrum - seeing an ankle specialist...
I'm sorry it's so bad Joy. Let the dr know just how bad it really is. I hurt mine beg of Oct and by dr had me wearing boot until my surgery. I still had pain, but boot did help a lot by keeping my ankle stable when I walked. I found I could walk further and be on my feet longer, I still had pain and swelling, but I could walk. Do you have a brace you could try until you see your dr? Yiu can get at drug store,,,walmart, etc. Hope you can find some relief.
