Re: staple removal - i had somewhere around 50 staples, I found that the majority of them didn't hurt at all, I could feel them coming out, but no pain. There were a few that hurt a little bit - kind of a small stinging pain, it only lasted for a second on each one...it was maybe only 10 or 15 of them that I had any pain with...but again, it wasn't significant. I know others have said it was more painful.

Blue is my favorite color! I hope they have good colors when i go to get my cast. Probably sometime in April, so I'll have to get a bright cheerful color!
Amazingly, for all of the structural problems with my feet plus foot drop, this is the first cast I've ever had. And stuck with with white -- so sad...

Yes, white is boring but the colored ones attract everyone's attention and they have to ask if it is broken.
I learned today that I now have three screws in my foot. two in heel and a third holding a tendon. I took pictures of my ugly swollen foot prior to the cast.
