| Re: Gall bladder attacks w/ no GB!?
My husband has been having some of the same kind of problems. He is complaining in the upper right quaidrent of constant pain, but it is worse if he tries to eat. He's also having burning back pain in the the middle of his back. He says it hurts just like it did before he had his gallbladder removed. We've done a Cat Scan, upper GI, barium enema, blood work, a few X-rays, and so far we haven't found anything. Finally, he is getting seen by a gastro Dr in early October. He became very constipated after getting the upper GI done and X-rays showed that the barium had set up around where he was hurting. He was nauseated and in so much pain. A week later, he vomited up bile a few times and then the other day, he did the same thing. We've been to the ER 3 times in 3 weeks. They basically just send us home. He's lost 40lbs in 4 weeks. And, he hasn't been able to work for 6 weeks due to the pain. I'm hoping his gastro Dr will be able to help him. He is miserable. Even after all these years, it could still be possible he has a stone caught in one of the ducts, his Dr said.
