Re: right upper quadrant pain/gallbladder removed
I'm not a dr., but I think you still have stones. Stones are manufactured in your liver; removing your galllbladder does not stop the mfr. process. Your heartburn is related to gallstones, as is your pain. You can help yourself by taking the following:
Malic acid pills (softens stones) - 2 per day Malic acid is a substance found in apple juice. I got tired of drinking apple juice, so I bought the pills.
Phosphatidyl Choline pills (the substance found in lecithin) 3-4 per day
Ox bile tabs (helps to replace your missing gallbladder)6-9 tabs
digestive enzymes 2 with each meal.
These items can be purchased at a natural foods store. they help break down and eliminate stones. There are also chinese herbs that help, such as Gold coin grass, as well as a Brazilian herb known as the stonebreaker. It is called Chanca Piedra. You can get either of these online.
I had my gallbladder removed in 1983 and was recently having enormous gallstone type pain. I took these items and my pain is gone. Not to be gross, but I also passed a gallstone today! You can actually see them. When they are removed from your liver, they travel through your intestines and out. Oh yes, do not eat any fat of any kind. That will make your pain worse.
Hope this helps,
