Post Gall Bladder Surgery - Gallbladder Message Board

It has been 3 days since my surgery. I still hurt some, feel sore. Been taking the pain meds. I was trying to change my bandaides but, two of them would not come off and when I tried to take them off, it started to bleed a little bit. I left it on until I talk to my doctor on Monday. Just wanted some advice on how to take care of the bandaged areas and if it normal to still have pain after 3 days of surgery.

You'll be sore for a while yet. I wouldn't worry about that. I am surprised your doc didn't give you instructions about your bandages. Mine was very specific...but I had steri strips and since I am allergic to the adhesive, I made a point to ask. But it was on the printed instructions they gave me when I left the hospitala..along with diet, bathing,etc information. If you're concerned, then call him.
