Is it my gallbladder? - Gallbladder Message Board

I have had a weird feeling under my right ribcage for months now. I can't describe the feeling, it's not painful, just annoying, like something rubbing against my ribs.

Had an untrasound for the gallbladder and it came back fine, but my dr. said an normal ultrasound doesn't mean my gallbladder is ok. Now I have to go for the hida test. From what I am reading, I'm going to feel worse after having it?

I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Knowing that everyone is different, when I had my last two gall bladder attacks I felt like I had the flu with an extreme stomach ache and vomiting.

Plus my shoulders hurt. Go figure out that one.

Not everyone feels bad after the HIDA scan. I felt nothing but it showed mine was only at 16%.

I hope you find out the cause of your discomfort.

I had the hida scan last week... and it was a breeze, and I still feel uncomfy, etc. but not worse I would say.. it showed my function % was only 24, when it should be I believe 35... I am seeing a surgeon about gallbladder removal, hopefully after that I can go on with my daily life, and get back to enjoying things I love
