Question Lesions on my gallbladder, what does that mean?

Yesterday I had my gallbladder removed. There were two golf ball sized stones and the doctor said that my gallbladder was covered in lesions. Does anyone know why there would be lesions and what it means? I was a bit too drugged up to think of asking. I also had a hernia repaired. Thanks for any info you can give me.

That just means it was damaged from the gallstones.
