Gallbladder Removal and Still Now having Stomach Problems
I had my Gall Bladder removed in September 2008 - I was ok two months later but then I started to have issues like excess belching, gas in stomach, sour stomach. When the winter season approached, I had all kinds of issues with my stomach because I kept getting viruses from my kids and then my stomach really bothered me. My doctor put me on Nexium but I had allergic reactions from the drug and now I am on Zantec over the counter. I had a complete physical. I am eating bland food - no dairy, or red meat, no fatty foods. I cook with olive oil, drink water, and walk 3 to 4 times a week. I am overweight and I am on a diet. Also, I stay away from restaurants and eat alot of my foods from home.
I am just having too many issues with my stomach I will be seeing a gastrologist this week. My doctor told me to eat 6 small meals a day and when I do get sick, I will also have excess gas in my stomach which will cause a sour stomach.
I am just wondering if anyone is going through this - I will be sitting there having a conversation with a friend or be at a social event and then my stomach goes sour all of the sudden coming out of no where. This makes me feel trapped like I can't go no where because I hate the discomfort! What can I do but go to a gasrologist and what if that doctor can't relieve my symptoms - it is so depressing because I can't eat with my family, can't go to restaurants, and I stay home alot because of fear of pain in the stomach. This is ridiculous - help! help!
Today, I caught a sore throat from my son and I feel sick to my stomach.
