tight waist band and bloat
After an Endoscopy about 5 years ago, I was told I had a huge amount of bile in my stomach. My symptoms were bloating and pain. I think it was bile reflux. I still have my gall bladder. It was a very stressful time back then. I was given a med that I can't remember now, but it was a liquid and coated my stomach. I couldn't eat an hour before or two hours after or take meds. Made it hard to time taking med and eating. but it worked and I got better. Now, recently, I'm having 'attacks' here and there. Most of them come when the waistband in my pants are a little tight. I usually walk around with my pants partially unzipped and if they have an elastic waist, I just roll them down below my hips.
In the past 3 months I've had about 4 attacks and at first I thought it was a heart attack. The first was after I had a breakfast of fruit. ( I eat fairly healthy)I just lost 8 lbs by eating 1500 calories or less and could get into an old pair of jeans. I got in the car, and all of a sudden had severe pains in my upper stomach, just under my rib cage. I unzipped my pants, thought about pulling off the road, tried to relax and about 10 minutes later I was fine.
On Vacation in Hawaii I tried standing on a big wide surfboard, and paddling. I didn't have anything tight around my waist..only my bathing suit. This is great core strengthing fun. After about 5 minutes, I had another one of these attacks. Maybe my heart? I got dizzly and my stomach hurt so bad. So I'm thinking my stomach muscles spasmed, and but pressure on SOMETHING like when wearing a slightly tight waistband. It lasted about 15 minutes. It was bad.
Another time I was having soup and sandwhich and wearing jeans . They were not tight, but I was bending over the table looking at paperwork, and got one of those attacks. This one lasted all day.
I have had one other attack like this, but can't say it had anything to do with a tight waist band.
I'm thinking something is going on with my gall bladder. I try and eat like a cave man...no processed foods, things with only 5 ingredients. But then I have days when I eat pizza, and junk and no problem. Seems to be the tight waist band.
Any thoughts or comments on this. By the way, my stools are very yellow when my stomach is not feeling well and semi solid.
