In need of some advice/opinions...
Hello.
I am a 22 year old white female who is in good health aside from what I am about to tell you.
My morning nausea started in 2006. I would wake up for school and force myself out of the bed. Some morning were worse than others, but the occurrences were occasional... maybe once every two weeks. (You have no idea how often I got accused of being pregnant...)
So was my life until about 8 months ago. A week before my wedding, I woke up with Nauru and then vomiting. After 24 hours I was fine, and dismissed it as a bug. Since that day, and almost every day after, I wake up with extreme nausea. In the last two months, I have developed a very sharp, agonizing pain that started in my left side and has since moved around to my chest, back, and right side. My stomach has begun making AWFUL noises about 2 hours after eating, and i have become very gassy.
Changing my diet has done nothing, and Zofran and Codine keep me functioning. I have had MANY blood tests, a CT with contrast, an abdominal u/s, and an endoscopy (all with no abnormalities) and will have a HIDA this afternoon.
I don't know how much longer I can handle this. Has anyone these same symptoms. Was it your gallbladder (as my husband is convinced it is)? Was it something else?
